Luxon can be still profitable since they drop alot of gold armors, which gives you a good chance on gettin Sup Vigor runes, and now even Sup Shadow Arts runes which are worth a bit now.

Call me crazy but I still don't see how the OP is getting 15 smiting, 12 restoration, and 9 protection with the listed runes. The best I can get is 15 smiting (11+1+3), 12 restoration, and 7 protection (6+1).

It might be just a typo. I tend to write these guides as fast as I can, and sometimes can cause some errors. But it is possible that you did not get all the attribute points from the earlier quest in Factions, on the starter island... this is a common thing for some people to miss out on, there are an extra 30 attribute points you get from two different quest, 15 points each, which will total 200 att points at lvl 20. Prophecies and Nightfall pretty much give you the points in primary quest, but factions has two side quest you need to look for to gain that extra 30 points. There is one quest in the Harbor, and one at the Gardens, check out both towns an good chance you will find the quest there. If not, let me know and ill see if there was a typo or something. It might be possible that I only used 14 smiting too... Just try it out, doesn't have to be exact, but aslong as it works.

I have done the attribute-point quests.
The error is on your end. If you want 9 prot in that build, you have to use a superior rune, not a minor rune. Otherwise the numbers don't add up.

He hasn't corrected it--and I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing out an error like this. In fact, I assumed he would have appreciated it.

There, I fixed it. It was actually 14 Smiting, not 15. Since with Retribution will only do 17 dmg with 600hp, so no need for anything higher than 14 smiting. And I did appreciate pointing out that problem, as I did say thanks

Well, if the max damage is 17 for [retribution], then nothing higher than 12 smiting would be needed. But I don't quite see how you're figuring 17 max damage at 600 hp. Wouldn't it be 20 (that is, 33% of 60)?
Anyway, all's well that ends well. After trying this build for a while, I find that it's slower than 600-ing with a smiter hero, but it does work.

Hmm, good question, not sure. I haven't tried the build in a long time. Don't know why I would say 17 if it wasn't, probably another type. I did kind of write the guide quickly. If you test it out let me know. I really didn't spend much time testing it out, but I did test it out enough to see if it works or not.
